Protection against the cold

Odoo CMS- Sample image floating

The level of protection of the glove against the risks linked to the cold is formulated by a pictogram accompanied by 3 figures below the pictogram corresponding to the levels of performance.

There are two types of exposure to cold:

-     The penetrating or convective cold (letter Z of the pictogram), which measures the thermal insulation of the glove.

-     The contact with the cold (letter Y of the pictogram), which measures the thermal resistance of the material of the glove when it is in direct contact with cold objects.

In both cases, the lowest level of performance is level 0 and the highest level of performance is level 4.

Tests for resistance to water permeability (letter W of the pictogram) are made according to the type of glove and its use. An "X" means that it is not necessary to test the glove against water permeability.

The test score is either 1 if the water does not infiltrate, or 0 if the test fails
