Protection against intermediate risks

Class II gloves are commonly used gloves that protect against intermediate hazards.

Class II gloves are subject to all category I gloves and sleeves' obligations.

In addition, they are subject to the requirements of additional standards which are as follows:

  • EN 388: 2016 This standard defines the criteria for protection against mechanical hazards. These risks are caused by abrasion, blade cutting, tearing, perforation, cutting according to ISO 13997 and impact according to EN 13594.

  • EN 511: 2006 This standard defines the criteria for protection against risks related to cold. It protects users against the risks of contact and convection cold down to -50 ° C

  • EN 407: 2004 This standard defines the criteria for protection against risks related to heat and fire.

  • EN 12477: 2001 + A1: 2005 This standard defines the protection criteria against welding hazards.
